I uploaded the same video to both MiddTube and YouTube.  Uploaded file was .mp4 created from .mov file using QuickTime Pro:
audio:AAC, Mono, 44.100 kHz 64Kbit/sec
video: H.264 Decoder, 296 x 240, Millions
data size: 473.64 K
data rate: 82.83 kbits/s

I used encoding guidelines from:

MiddTube
This version has decent quality but some of the video frames seem to have gotten duplicated or are playing back more than once.

UPDATE: video frame duplication may have been the result of editing the .mov file before exporting to .mp4..

YouTube
This version is lower quality than MiddTube.  As well, audio is out of sync.  There is a higher quality version of this video available from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cw1SLdDZoEw&fmt=18
