RSS

Overview

Segue supports both publishing its own content via RSS (really simple syndication) as well as reading RSS feeds from itself and other sites.

All pages in Segue have their own RSS feed. This means that any Segue page can be viewed in an RSS reader. Any Segue content blocks that are Files for Download become RSS 2.0 enclosures which can be downloaded in an RSS Reader including podcasts.

Segue can display RSS feeds in either the left or right sidebar or in content blocks. Sidebar RSS feeds display only the RSS titles for the channel and items. Users can specify how many items to display of a given feed. Content block RSS feeds display the full description of the feed as well.

Because Segue both reads and publishes RSS, it is possible to include in a Segue site RSS feeds from other Segue sites.
