I’ve created a variation of Translucence that uses the “Paris Night” image, a view over Paris, at dusk, from the Maine-Montparnasse tower. See:

This “Paris Night” variation highlights Translucence’s opacity options which can be applied to the header, top navigation, content area, sidebars and footer area. As more people begin to view web sites through HUD browsers, control over the color and opacity of sites will become critical.
