Segue\u2019s customizable, hierarchical, granular design and structuring of content makes it an excellent general purpose content management system for courses and blogs, archives and exhibitions, collections and research.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Open Source Partnerships<\/h3>\n<p><span>The Open Knowledge Initiative (OKI) has defined standards for system interoperability that are being implemented in various open source projects including the Sakai project, Tufts Visual Understanding Environment (VUE), Lionshare and the next generation of the Segue Collaborative Learning System (CLS).
