Mass Amherst with Eileen McMahon from U. Mass Boston.\u00a0 In my presentation I\u00a0sought to define and categorize &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/seguecommunity.middlebury.edu\/view\/html\/site\/achapin-widgets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">web widgets<\/a>&#8221; from simple &#8220;RSS containers&#8221; to interactive &#8220;read\/write&#8221; widgets.<\/p>\n<p>Eileen gave a great tour of many different widgets used in education including those available in iGoogle and through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/a\/help\/intl\/en\/edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Apps for Education<\/a>.\u00a0 <span class=\"text\">There were also a number of presentations on using WordPress for courses.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u00a0co-organized a Nercomp event on Widgets in Education at U.
