Have added slides of my<br \/>\npresentation to my <a href=\"sites\/achapin-ipod\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iPods in Education<\/a><br \/>\nsite. Shel discussed the logistics and assessment of the Language<br \/>\nSchool iPod Pilot project. Dave Guertin showed some of his work in <a href=\"segue.middlebury.edu\/sites\/scivizlab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">scientific visualization<\/a> and Bryan Alexander touched on all sorts of emerging technologies a few of which he has included in his <a href=\"http:\/\/infocult.typepad.com\/presentations\/2005\/10\/nercomp_emergin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">presentation site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Others presenters include <a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.elearning.ubc.ca\/brian\/\">Brian Lamb<\/a><br \/>\nfrom who has been promoting MovableType blogs to faculty and students<br \/>\nat the University of British Columbia and has developed an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/aggrssive.olt.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tool for aggregating RSS feeds<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/english.gmu.edu\/faculty_staff\/bio.php?Joel+Foreman\">Joel Foreman<\/a> from George Mason University discussed gaming, particularly MMOGs and how these could be used in education.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 28, 2005Shel Sax and I gave a short presentation on iPods at Middlebury yesterday at a Nercomp Special Interest Group (SIG) conference in Bolton MA organized by Shel and Bryan Alexander.
