{"id":11,"date":"2009-09-14T12:31:36","date_gmt":"2009-09-14T16:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.middlebury.edu\/moodle\/about\/"},"modified":"2012-07-29T14:46:14","modified_gmt":"2012-07-29T14:46:14","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/segueproject.org\/moodle\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About Moodle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moodle will soon be available to Middlebury faculty for creating course sites.<\/p>\n<p>Moodle has been in use at Middlebury since 2007, primary for online exams. \u00a0This instance of Moodle is referred to as Measure and is\u00a0configured specifically for creating online assessments of learning.\u00a0 Measure can be used for formative (i.e. quizzes) and summative assessments (i.e. examinations). \u00a0Measure is used extensively by the summer Language Schools for placement, entrance and exit exams.\u00a0 Measure is also used by a number of academic year departments for placing new students into particular programs of study.<\/p>\n<p>Measure will continue to be available to the Language Schools for online placement, entrance and exit exams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moodle will soon be available to Middlebury faculty for creating course sites.
