There are a few inns in Middlebury that are walking distance from the college. As well, there are a number of other inns, hotels, bed & breakfasts within 5 miles of the college. Below is a selection.  Be sure to book earlier as accomodations in the Middlebury area are limited and it will likely be the peak of fall foliage…<\/p>\n

Hiking in Middlebury<\/h3>\n

If you are planning to stay awhile after the summit, there are a lot of great hiking trails in Middlebury.  Below is a map of the trail up Snake Mountain which is about 12 miles from Middlebury College.  The hike itself takes about 2 hours to the summit and back.<\/p>\n
