Associated Sites

Overview

All participants of a Segue site who have been added to the site roster can be assigned a slot that is associated with the this site. This is most useful for class sites, allowing instructors to create sites for their students to do class assignments

A list of all the participants in a site roster can be displayed as a page in any section of the site. If any participant has created an associated site, a link will be made to these sites from the participant list.

Creating Associated Sites and Participant Lists

How to create associated sites and participant lists…
To create associated sites for Roster participants (e.g. students in class), do the following:

  1. Click on link to Tracking at the top of any page in your Segue site
  2. From the tracking window, click on link to Roster
  3. For each student listed in your Roster, click on the button to Create Site
  4. Close the Roster Window

To show a list of all participants in your site with links to their associated sites, do the following:

  1. Click on + add item in one of your Sidebars
  2. Chose Participant List
  3. Chose which Sidebar (e.g. left or right) to display this list
  4. Save Changes
