  1. Back up your data!
  2. Download the latest version of Segue from SourceForge.
  3. Untar/unzip/decompress your new Segue archive in your
    web-accessable directory (next to where your current Segue is). The new
    Segue’s directory will contain the version number in the filename so it
    will not overwrite the old Segue’s directory.

  4. Rename the config_sample.inc.php file in the new Segue to config.inc.php
  5. Compare config.inc.php in the new Segue and the old Segue and copy over any needed settings to the new config.
  6. Point your browser at the new Segue. It is now running.
  7. Log in as an administrator and go to admin tools –> segue updates and run any updaters that are required.
  8. Your
    new Segue is now ready for use. At this time you can move your old
    Segue out of the way if needed so that you can make the new Segue
    availible at your desired URL.
