Creating Placeholders for Visitors<\/h3>\n

The following steps are taken after a visitor has registered an account in Segue.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in as an administrator<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Admin Tools –> Browse Placeholders<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Enter the name of the new placeholder in the Create\/Edit a Placholder <\/strong>field. This name is up to your organizations naming scheme and could be anything from’swimteam’ to ‘johndoe_example_edu-portfolio’. Names can only contain letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores.<\/li>\n
  4. click the Create\/Edit<\/strong> button<\/li>\n
  5. In the Create\/Edit Placeholder<\/strong> screen go to the Owner<\/strong> section and search for the visitors email address.<\/li>\n
  6. After finding their account, click the + Add<\/strong> button next to their name.<\/li>\n
  7. Change any other options such as location category or media quota as appropriate.<\/li>\n
  8. Click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The site will appear for the visitor on their Portal<\/strong> under Other Sites.<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
