This tracking information can be used to sort through a database to find the study material that may be recently studied, well studied, unstudied, studied but not well known, studied and well known as so on&#8230;&nbsp; As a user studies, the application keeps track of the time time and study context.&nbsp; This information can then be used later for review and for generating drills and exercises customized to the user&#8217;s current knowledge of the study material.<\/p>\n<p>The study of Japanese Kanji was the inspiration for StudyDB.&nbsp; Thanks to Kyoko Davis, the Japanese version of StudyDB has over 1700 vocabulary items in it drawn from the textbook <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/segue.middlebury.edu\/sites\/japanese-genki\">Genki, An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese<\/a>.&nbsp; \n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview StudyDB is a web application for studying&#8230; stuff, anything that can be broken down into discrete chunks and displayed as a list.&nbsp; StudyDB helps users to memorize these chucks by tracking study habits.
