Existing web applications will need to be able to be able to port data from a variety of sources including text and media files, databases and other web applications.  In addition, a data porting web application will need to be created that can connect to various data sources, map data fields from one source into another as well as transform data from one source into another source.  Whenever possible, data should be formatted using data format standards.
