Speaker: Alex Chapin, Principal Curricular Technologist, Middlebury College
This presentation will demonstrate tools that are emerging that simplify the creation of mashups such as Yahoo Pipes and will discuss the evolution of portals from institutional/corporate content aggregators to personal aggregators such as iGoogle, Netvibes, PageFlakes and Facebook that pull content from a variety of sources. Finally, this presentation will demonstrate Segue v2, Middlebury College’s collaborative knowledge system that is modeled on these new personal content aggregators.
