Browsable Audio Granules
Metadata can be embedded in most audio files using ID3 tags. Originally created for describing music files, these tags are being re-purposed to describe a variety of audio material:

Name = lecture/topic/book…
Artist = speaker(s)/textbook….
Album = class/show/theme…
Genre = podcast/audiobook….
Comments = comments/translation…

These embedded metadata tags essentially become attributes or facets of the file they are embedded in and media players allow users to browse or search these attributes in dynamic taxonomies.
